Volunteer

Play-Place Autism & Special Needs Center needs patient, caring, smiling volunteers with a passion for helping others! Our center is for children and young adults affected by autism and other special needs. In 2023, our volunteers dedicated over 4,000+ hours assisting with a variety of impact projects, including arts & crafts kit assembly, guided individual and small group activities, organizing, special events assistance, as well as beautification of our center via painting, decorating and upgrades. Volunteer 3 to 4 hours of your time and inspire for a lifetime. Sign up for one shift, multiple shifts or even the same shift each week. We truly value our volunteers for the incredible difference they make in the lives of our visitors.

It’s simple, click your area of volunteer interest (below), choose your date(s) and time(s), sign up and help make a difference in someone’s life. Volunteer Training will be completed the first 20 minutes of your initial volunteer shift.
Please be sure to bring your HIPAA certification upon your initial volunteer shift.

**VOLUNTEERING REQUIREMENTS**

Volunteers under the age of 16-years-old, must be accompanied by a parent

  • ON YOUR FIRST DAY, volunteers must bring some form of photo ID (e.g. driver’s license, state ID, student ID)
